Children’s preschool in Crayford

Mini Gems Children’s preschool in Crayford is a warm, friendly, and welcoming place for children between the ages of 2 and 5 until they go to school. Our location creates the perfect environment for children to learn, explore and play indoors and outdoor. Established in 2018 providing excellent level childcare in a safe nurturing environment.

Located in the heart of the community our aim is to provide every single child with the absolute best start in life supported by a high ratio of highly trained members of our team.

We are a term time only setting.

Morning session – 8.50am to 11.50am
Afternoon session – 12pm to 3pm
Full day session starts – 8.50am to 3pm

Learning is FUN!

Learning in Early Years is hugely important but it must be fun. That is why we place great importance on learning through exploration, sensory play and with our friends.

Working Together

At Mini Gems Pre-school we understand the responsibility and privilege it is to care for the most precious thing in your life, your child. We value being your partner in the care, education, and social wellbeing of your child.

Healthy eating

Children that are staying with us all day will need to bring a packed lunch. We encourage this to be balanced and healthy and we ask that you please limit snacks and drinks which have a high sugar content.

We offer children a healthy snack during the morning and afternoon session such as seasonal fruit and vegetables, alongside water and milk for them to drink.

What our Parents say....

The staff organised a very lovely graduation party for the children going to big school and it was safely organised it was a lovely day outside in the nursery’s garden and the staff were very lovely organising all the pictures and the party bags for our children. Mini gems will be missed

Neil enjoyed every single day during the period of lockdown Neil missed his nursery his friends and teachers every single day he was so desperate to go back to the nursery, eventually when he heard the news of the re-opening of the nursery we were so glad that Neil will be able to say a proper goodbye to the teachers and friends before leaving the setting off and starting his new academic session in primary school. Thank You!

Caleb has had an amazing experience at mini gems preschool staff supported him to settle in well and he grew in confidence as a result. Caleb always comes home happy and filled with positive news about his day. He has formed very special bonds with his teachers . I have found them to be exceptional in their care for all of the children. I cannot thank mini gems enough for their hard work and contribution to Caleb’s development during this phase of his life. Thank you so much.
